DR. SEUSS ENTERPRISES CELEBRATES ICONIC AUTHOR’S BIRTHDAY BY PLEDGING TO GIFT A BOOK TO EVERY BABY BORN IN THE U.S. ON MARCH 2, 2024

Leading Global Entertainment Company Encourages Teachers and Parents to ‘Read Today for Their Tomorrow’ with One-of-a-Kind Pledge

February 15, 2024 – Over the decades Dr. Seuss’s Birthday has become a national staple in classrooms and homes with millions of children, educators, and parents dressing up as their favorite Dr. Seuss character, picking up their favorite book, and celebrating the joy of reading. Today Dr. Seuss Enterprises announced they are honoring this storied legacy with a groundbreaking pledge: They are pledging to give away a free, personalized copy of the cherished book, The Cat in the Hat to every baby born in the U.S. on March 2, 2024. Books donated for the pledge will be supplied by Dr. Seuss’s long-time publishing partner Random House Children’s books. The interior of each book will include a personalized message that commemorates the child’s Seussian birthday and encourages parents to read to their child every day to help ensure their tomorrows are filled with curiosity, imagination, and knowledge.
